A mid-sized global component supplier to the off-highway market.

Challenge

The client needed to identify and anticipate growth potential in the Indian market.

Activity

Allegiant researched market potential for each market segment and for the major OEM’s in each segment. We then developed strategy to help the client penetrate the market.

Result

Allegiant projected total market by year through 2015 and identified major OEM activity. We provided an in depth analysis on 10 segments, and 14 OEM’s and developed a strategy to focus on 3 segments and 4 OEM’s that would result in a potential 25%+ increase in market share.

Client

A large global component supplier to the commercial vehicle market.

Challenge

The client was struggling to establish significant sales in the Chinese market.

Activity

Allegiant researched market potential for each OEM and identified the current suppliers to each OEM. We also researched the present strategic alliances and anticipated future alliances and developed a strategy to gain significant market share.

Result

Allegiant provided the client with a four year history and 5 year forecast for the medium and heavy truck market. We identified the major OEM’s and their forecasted growth. Finally, Allegiant developed a niche market strategy for a wholly owned business and a major market strategy for a JV and recommended the JV partner.

Client

A small distribution company

Challenge

The client supplies Tier 1 and tier 2 component suppliers in the automotive market. They believed they had the capability to increase sales to three times current levels and needed a strategy and relationships to accomplish this.

Activity

Allegiant met with the client’s key employees and developed an understanding of the business. We reviewed their operations and traveled to Taiwan to assess key suppliers and their capability.

Result

We developed a strategic alliance strategy with key suppliers and provided a sales strategy utilizing Allegiant’s network including OEM’s, Tier 1 and large distribution in the automotive, commercial vehicle and off-highway markets. Finally, we arranged meetings with key personnel at the target companies.
